Entryway repair, clean up and update.

This was one of my first independent projects. Each of the stones that were laid on top of the thin fieldstone wall were 50lbs each. What started as a simple resurfacing job, quickly turned into a full update. Each step has two material types, the face of each step is Rapid Set Cement All and the step was done in some brand of Self Leveling product.  The whole project was then triple coated in "Wet-look" sealer. 

Some of the steps had excess damage. It's not until you get into a project sometimes, that you find out what you are dealing with. In this instance, there was a set of stairs, covered by another set of stairs, covered by another set of material, an attempted repair by the owner. You couldn't tell, but we completely dug out two of the steps and poured in fresh concrete to repair. we ended up doing quite a bit more work for this customer and it's been several years, but have plans to go back yet again.
