Salvation Army Building
Downtown Albany

This project was my debut as a foreman for a union contractor. This project was a repoint of the entire building downtown on Clinton Place. With a crew of up to 7 people at one point, Several 40' MEWP's, some scaffolding due to power lines out back and a 130 foot MEWP to finish the project, this easily took 6 months. I was brought on to the project after it had started, there was a manpower crunch and nothing was getting done, but that didn't last long. Time passed, the season ended and we were slated to reopen in the spring. March 1st rolled around and we got right to it 2023, had this thing all wrapped up in so little time I forget how long it took. I don't even remember how much pointing we did. I actually had to measure the entire building at one point, because the prints were the wrong size and scale and the contractor had to make sure they got paid right. It also explained why this project was running so much longer than he thought. At the end of the day, we put it all together and brought it home.
